Getting insurance with a conviction to declare can present some obstacles. Some insurers will simply not give quotes to people with convictions. We are also aware that many companies do not cover clients in Northern Ireland, particularly for car insurance.
It is important to disclose your convictions when asked and to be completely honest and open about it. While this can be uncomfortable, its important because in the event of a claim, if it comes to light that you have not been honest, there is the very real risk of your claim being considered “void” and therefore cancelled.
